All professions make a “grand bargain” with society. In return for being given certain privileges within a domain (i.e. self regulation), the profession agrees to leverage this privilege for the benefit of all.
When we couple this grand bargain with the realization that tech is playing an increasingly vital role in all aspects of our lives, it is clear that tech stewardship is generally relevant to all professions.
This is a space to share perspectives on the opportunities of different professions to express tech stewardship.
